Tangent Music Group is a Birmingham, Alabama based music production company and record label founded by producer/guitarist Ben Trexel. Artists include D. Watts, Ben Trexel, Kristen Jaudon, Lake Trechsel, and Joshua Lee. Tangent Music Group specializes in Pro-Tools audio production, artist development, original music for films, television, commercials as well as consulting on many music business related subjects. Ben Trexel also creates original music tracks for sale in the genres of R&B, hip-hop, pop, and rock. Look for upcoming releases from singer-writers Jason Speegle, Jennifer Moody, and Americana Rock group Drive South.
In addition to working with the above artists, Trexel has also worked with many well known acts, recording live DVDs for Monte Montgomery, Paul Thorn, Webb Wilder, and Train. Trexel has also engineered live radio broadcasts by such top acts as Duncan Sheik, Three Days Grace, Better Than Ezra, Cowboy Mouth, Brandi Carlile, Chris Thile, Fuel, and many more.
